Your library card is your passport to another world! Use it to borrow books, audiobooks, DVDs, ebooks, eAudiobooks and to stream free movies. Your library card also gives you access to databases such as Newspapers.com, HeritageQuest and the Power Library.

*If you want to borrow actual books or audiobooks on CD from the library, you will need to get a Physical Library Card.

What do I need to get a physical library card?
  1. A completed registration form
  2. Valid, photo ID with proof of address

That’s it! Adult and juvenile registration forms are available at both circulation desks inside Ligonier Valley Library or you can register online and then stop in.

Westmoreland County residents receive a library card for free. Just moved here? Not a problem, call ahead at 724-238-6451 or stop in and we’ll go over the forms of ID that will get you connected.

Children 5 years or older can also be registered for a library card!

Local Residents

Ligonier and Westmoreland County residents are entitled to a free WLN library card which is good at all Westmoreland County public libraries, including Ligonier Valley Library.

Out-of-state

Out-of-state or out-of-area residents may get a library card for a $5 annual fee.

Pennsylvania Residents

Pennsylvania residents with an active card from their home library may get a WLN Library card for free.
