Gadget Group

Thursday, January 26 at 6:30 pm
Join us for an informal gadget networking night.

Bring your gadgets - eReaders, iPads, Tablet PCs or mp3 players - for a show and tell. Novices and Experts are needed! Novices can learn from the experts, and the experts can learn from each other.

Saturday Morning Movie @ the Library

January 28 at 10:30 am
Follow the humorous antics of Jim Carrey in his recently released DVD as he learns to live with his new little, tuxedo-clad friends from the Antarctic.

Join us for a family friendly movie on the last Saturday of every month. Sometimes the movie will be a current release and sometimes it will be an oldie but goodie! Viewers are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, pillows, or whatever will make you comfortable.

This program is free and open to the public. It is recommended that children under 8 years of age be accompanied by a grown-up.

We are happy to announce the addition of a brand book group! Starting in January, cookbook lovers and food enthusiasts will have a book club just for them... Food For Thought - A Cookbook Club.

Bookclub

Members will bring a dish made from a recipe that they selected from the featured cookbook which will be on display at the main circulation desk. All cooking skill levels are welcome! Remember to bring your own place setting.

For more details about the group and how it works, visit our Food For Thought page, stop by the library or call us at 724-238-6451.

In addition to our new book group, we still have long time favorites, Titles & Tea and Death in the Stacks. Both groups plan to offer new and interesting books and discussions for 2012. Remember... we can provide the books & the meeting space, but your participation is the ingredient that makes the recipe for discussion delicioso!

Do you have UFO's at your house? We're not referring to unidentified flying objects, but rather Unfinished Objects! If you have unfinished projects taking up space in your craft cupboard, guest bedroom and basement workshop, then we invite you to join our UFO Group!

Bring your UFOs to the Ligonier Valley Library on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month beginning on February 10, 2012, from 10:00 am to noon in the community room.

Our UFO group is a relaxed, social gathering of people working on their unfinished projects. In addition to having plenty of room to spread out, the community room also has a Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Call the Ligonier Valley Library at 724-238-6451 or visit our UFO page for more details.

No registration required. The group is free and open to the public.
