Family STEM Adventures

Explore, experiment, and discover together at Family STEM Adventures! Families are invited to visit the library each month for a new collection of hands-on STEM activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

How long of a paper chain can you make from a single piece of paper? What is an Agamograph, and how do you make one? How do you make a homemade Kaleidoscope? The answers to these and many other questions can be found with your child during the Family STEM Adventures at the Ligonier Valley Library. Families can explore these topics and many more- such as how to make a musical instrument out of wax paper and a comb, and how to make and use invisible ink!

Families can drop in, try activities at their own pace, and return each month to explore something new. Little ones can also enjoy the Children’s Wing.
