#62 George Weimer Building (235 E Main)

George Weimer Building

235 East Main Street

It is believed that this building was used in the 1800s by the Weimers for storage and for making cabinets and caskets in the family business, along with the two properties next door to the east. It was constructed using plank and clapboard, and white oak hand-hewn timbers held in place with wooden pegs. In the 1950s, it became the home to Don Robb’s Fly Fishing and Tackle Shop, where Don made his custom fly-fishing rods.
