#31 National Bank of Ligonier (112 N Market)

National Bank of Ligonier

112 North Market Street

John Hargnett Frank bought this property with a two-story house from George Kibel at sheriff’s sale in 1879. Frank housed his bank (The National Bank of Ligonier) in that dwelling from 1882 to 1917, when it was moved to the back lot and the marble-front building was built. Ligonier’s two banks merged and became part of Mellon Bank. Later the building became the Sewickley Spa.
