This property was purchased from Murdock & Berkey, consisting of two buildings, one of which was Wilt’s Drug Store. The 1st National Bank was established in 1902 and was originally housed in the Breniser Hotel. D. Beltz, L. Weller, L. Byers, and W. Peterson were officers. It became the second major bank in Ligonier after J. H. Frank’s National Bank of Ligonier on North Market Street.
