Michael Cunningham owned this house since at least 1860. Noah Marker purchased it in 1882. When the Marker Block burned in 1896, Mrs. Marker moved their belongings to this house that her son C. F. Marker was living in. This home remained in the Marker family until 1959. Census reveals that Joseph Moorhead lived here in 1850 and that Noah Mendell lived here in 1830.
