#10 Odd Fellows Hall (136/138 E Main)

Odd Fellows Hall

136/138 East Main Street

The I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) erected this building, which was completed in April 1926. It provided a meeting place and social hall for dances and parties. It was built on the lot that was formerly the home of John Hargnett. In 1946, it was bought at sheriff’s sale by Mary Jane (Steinberg) Giles, who opened her restaurant, “Mary Jane’s,” in it.
