The Pennsylvania Room at the Ligonier Valley Library is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Pennsylvania, Westmoreland County, and the Ligonier Valley. Located on the library’s lower level, this special collection offers a welcoming space for anyone interested in genealogy, local history, and the stories that shaped our region.

Local History Collections – Books, maps, documents, and reference materials on Pennsylvania and Ligonier Valley history.
Historic Photographs – Thousands of images capturing the people, places, and events that defined our community.

The Pennsylvania Room is open on Tuesday from 11-7 and Wednesday through Saturday from 10-5. Researchers are encouraged to call ahead to ensure that the Pennsylvania Room is open and available.
