R. B. Weaver Building

127 West Main Street

Built by Ralph Byron Weaver in 1924 as a storefront and apartments, the first tenant was Cramer’s General Store. In 1929, an aerial sign was painted on the roof with letters 16 ft. high and covering the 115 ft. length of the roof done “in hopes of placing our old Historic Town on the map and guiding aeronauts safely on their way.” It also housed the first Ligonier State Liquor Store in 1934.
