This plot of land dates back to 1806 with Noah Mendell as the owner. W. Dean Chrisner bought the property from Alfred Ambrose in 1920, which included a two- story frame house and garage. Chrisner built his garage in 1922, and it remained in the family as Chrisner Motors (a Chevrolet dealer) until 1961.
