Northwest Diamond Building

104 West Main Street

In the late 1800s/early 1900s, the two buildings that sat in this spot included William Lang’s grocery store and William J. Potts’ drug store. Lang’s was sold to Huston, McKelvey & Ramsey and then L. E. Welty for their grocery stores. Potts’ drug store was located in the middle building, which he built in 1888. In 1968, the building was reconstructed by the Mellon family.
