Have you ever wanted to go on an African safari? Join us on Tuesday, November 27 at 6:30 pm as Trudy Brisendine shares her experiences from a recent trip, of over a month, that covered four countries: South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Beyond the more than forty bush drives to view the animals (not shoot them), the safari included: small prop plane and dugout canoe rides, school visits, meetings with villagers – their chiefs and headmen, a home dinner with a family in Capetown, an elephant ride, and visits to Victoria Falls and the lighthouse at the Cape of Good Hope.
The presentation will last about an hour and snacks will be available.
This program is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the Ligonier Valley Library at 724-238-6451 and ask to speak with Shirley Iscrupe.
