Winter Tales @ the Library

Stop in on Saturday, January 26 during Ligonier’s 28th Annual Ice Fest for some winter fun at the Ligonier Valley Library!

A craft will be available all day in the Makerspace room and a special winter themed Storytime will be held at 2:00 pm.

This free program is open to the public and is fun for all ages.

For more information on Winter Tales, contact the library at 724-238-6451. The library will be open on Saturday, January 26 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, January 27 from 1-5pm.

New Year, New Children’s Programs

There are a lot of programs planned for the Winter/Spring season!

First up is Winter Tales on Saturday, January 26! Winter Tales is a part of the annual Ligonier Ice Fest. This free program will include an all-day craft project and a winter-themed storytime at 2pm. No registration required.

Preschool Storytimes are back! Starting on Wednesday, February 6 this program will run through April 17 and will offer two one hour storytimes, 10:30 am and 1:30 pm (the programs are the same). Registration is preferred – stop in, call the library at 724-238-6451, or use our ONLINE form!

Thursday, February 7 is for big kids! Children ages 4-9 years are invited to bring their families and have some Valentine fun, sorting, stacking, measuring and weighing. Contact the library with any questions. Registration is not required.

Chess Workshop – the Ligonier Valley Library calls all youth in grades Kindergarten through 8th who enjoy chess to join us for a workshop that will help enhance your playing skills. This is a great way to get ready for the annual Chess Tournament that will take place March 2019. Registration is required – stop in, call the library or use our ONLINE form!
