Socrates Cafe – Cancelled

The moderators cancelled April’s discussion, but are hoping to connect with everyone in May – either in person or virtually. Stay tuned!


What is a Socrates Café? A discussion club which brings together a group of diverse individuals on a regular bases to consider some of the profound issues of the universe. The emphasis is placed on questioning, open-mindedness and challenging our own assumptions while listening to and respecting the views shared by others.

The Socrates Café will meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the Smart Room of the Ligonier Valley Library. Dighton Fiddner, Ph.D. (“Mac”) and Trudy Brisendine will be the facilitators.
