Normally, January is a networking session with a chance for participants in the forum to share ideas on discussions and programs they would like to see for 2020. More information will be provided later in December.
Genealogy Forum is free and open to the public, especially those interested in exploring their family trees. For more information, visit the website or call the library at 724-238-6451.
The next meeting of the Ligonier Valley Library Genealogy Forum will be held Tuesday, October 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Pennsylvania Room of the Ligonier Valley Library. The program, “Show and Tell With Your Family Treasures,” is a popular yearly event for the group. Members and guests are encouraged to bring heirlooms, including photos, letters, glassware, jewelry, tools or other family treasures, and share stories of the items.
Genealogy Forum meetings are free, open to the public, and of interest to beginning as well as advanced researchers. For more information, e-mail email@example.com or call the Library at 724.238.6451 and ask for Shirley.
