We are open for in-person service and look forward to seeing you! Some things to know when visiting us in-person –
- Face masks – as per Governor Wolf’s and Dr. Levine’s order, patrons must wear a mask. If you need, we can provide you with a mask. The only exceptions are people who have a medical reason and we encourage you to take advantage of our curbside/lobby pickup or ask us about borrowing a face shield. We care very much about all of our patrons’ and staffs’ safety and want to be able to keep our doors open.
- Returning library materials – please place returns in either the box drop (located outside the main, sliding-glass door entrance) or on a cart in the entryway. At the end of business, items returned will go into quarantine for 72 hours before they are checked in.
- Coming and going – please enter through the sliding-glass doors and leave through the door in the children’s department.
- Limits – unfortunately, we are limiting everyone’s time in the library to 60 minutes. But all of the services you love are available. We ask you to just be patient as we are experiencing some delays and glitches.
As of July 1, the Ligonier Valley Library’s hours of service will be:
|At Risk & Seniors||Monday-Saturday||10:00-11:00am|
|Curbside/Lobby Pickup||Monday-Saturday||10:00am – until a 1/2 hour before closing|
**While all patrons are welcome during library hours, we’re working to set aside 10:00-11:00am each day for our at risk and/or seniors who may require further social distancing.
The Pennsylvania Room is by appointment only. Please call the library at 724-238-6451 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The library will be closed on Sundays for at least the month of July.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the library at 724-238-6451. Library staff are available from 9:00am until close Monday-Saturday. We will be closed on Sundays during the month of July.
