Block Party!

Monday, January 20 at 2:30 PM

Family event geared towards ages 3-5.

A Block Party is an hour long free play session with a set of universal wooden blocks, people, vehicles, animals, scarves, photographs of buildings, and other materials where preschoolers have the freedom to build and play as they wish. Keva Planks and Legos will be incorporated as well. There are only two rules: 1. No throwing blocks and 2. No knocking down anyone else’s building. Program is free and no registration is required, but caregivers must stay and play with their child/children. Questions? Call the library at 724-238-6451 and ask to speak to Mrs. Oates.


Judge Tenderly of Me : a seminar on Emily Dickinson

Tuesday, January 21 at 5:30 pm

Join us on Tuesday, January 21 in the Community Room at 5:30 pm for an in-depth look at Emily Dickinson’s life, poetry, and legacy.

James Arnold will be leading this seminar and giving us exclusive access to the real life of Emily Dickinson.


Winter Tales

Saturday, January 25

A winter craft project will be available from 10:30 am – 3 pm and a special story time will be held at 11 am.

Winter Tales is held in conjunction with the Ligonier Ice Fest. Ice Fest is held on Saturday and Sunday, January 25 & 26.


Winter/Spring Storytimes

Registration is open and required.

Lap Time Storytime starts Tuesday, February 4 at 11:00 am.

Preschool Storytime starts Wednesday, February 12 at 10:30 am and then again at 1:30 pm.


Socrates Café

Thursday, February 13 from 5 – 6 PM

A Socrates Café is a discussion club which brings together a group of diverse individuals on a regular basis (the 2nd Thursday of the month) to consider some of the profound issues of the universe. Learn more…
