Guests will walk away learning about the people who continually molded The Diamond in parallel with the ever-changing direction of U.S. History. \nGuided Tours will be offered at 10 AM\, 12 PM & 2 PM. Tours are free to attend and begin outside the main entrance of the Library building. Tours are outdoors and circle The Diamond with the use of sidewalks and crosswalks. SUMMARY:Star Trekking at the Library
DESCRIPTION:Join Commodore Glenn Smith and the crew of the USS Solstice for an engaging\, hands-on event that blends science\, imagination\, and fun for all ages. Participants will explore a variety of interactive stations\, including a LEGO space setup\, a comet demonstration\, a Star Trek technology display board\, and opportunities to learn how to use telescopes. Weather permitting\, guests can safely observe the Sun through solar telescopes. \nActivities will also include calculating distances in space\, discovering how weight changes on different worlds\, and exploring the science behind Star Trek concepts. To top it off\, attendees may even have the chance to take photos in a Captain’s chair with a themed backdrop and transporter experience\, making for an unforgettable journey into science and sci-fi. \nDrop in anytime between noon and 2:00 p.m. to launch your imagination\, explore the galaxy\, and chart your own course through science and space!

SUMMARY:Historic Ligonier Guided Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Spencer Pfrogner from the history-minded YouTube channel Redoubt Productions for an hour-long journey into the past\, right in the heart of downtown Ligonier. This experience highlights the heritage of several landmarks surrounding the town square. Incredible true stories that you will learn span from the era of the horse-drawn stagecoach\, the age of steam railroading and into the rise of the automobile. Guests will walk away learning about the people who continually molded The Diamond in parallel with the ever-changing direction of U.S. History. \nGuided Tours will be offered at 10 AM\, 12 PM & 2 PM. Tours are free to attend and begin outside the main entrance of the Library building. Tours are outdoors and circle The Diamond with the use of sidewalks and crosswalks.
