DESCRIPTION:Join Commodore Glenn Smith and the crew of the USS Solstice for an engaging\, hands-on event that blends science\, imagination\, and fun for all ages. Participants will explore a variety of interactive stations\, including a LEGO space setup\, a comet demonstration\, a Star Trek technology display board\, and opportunities to learn how to use telescopes. Weather permitting\, guests can safely observe the Sun through solar telescopes. \nActivities will also include calculating distances in space\, discovering how weight changes on different worlds\, and exploring the science behind Star Trek concepts.
