Still Alice Book Discussion

In cooperation with the Westmoreland Choral Society, we will host a book discussion on “Still Alice” by Lisa Genova on Wednesday, March 13 at 6:30 pm.
The Westmoreland Choral Society is holding a concert titled “Memory, Alzheimer’s Stories” on Friday, May 10 at the Seton Hill Performing Arts Center. The Westmoreland Library Network is partnering with the Choral Society to have a book discussion on the top if dementia.
Still Alice follows the life of Alice Howard, a 50-year-old cognitive professor at Harvard and a world-renowned linguistics expert. One day while out jogging, she finds herself lost in Harvard Square unable to find her way home, though she is a just a mile from her house on a route she has traveled every day. Read more…
Participants in the book discussion will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for the May 10 concert at Seton Hill. The regular price for tickets is $15. Our discounted price will be $10.
