You are invited to a Birthday Party!
Who: Pixelsaurus, our library dinosaur
Where: Ligonier Valley Library
When: Saturday, November 2 beginning at 10 am
Help us celebrate Pixelsaurus's 10th birthday!
Affectionately nicknamed "Steggy," Pixelsaurus was created by artist Quentin Curry in 2003 as part of the Carnegie Museum of Natural history's DinoMite™ Days. Since then Steggy has become a favorite fixture of the library, bringing a smile to kids and adult alike. (He also makes a great, and unique, reference point when instructing people on where to find the elevator!)
In celebration of Steggy's ten years of residence in the library, we are throwing a birthday party on November 2! The birthday party will begin with a cake cutting at 10:00 a.m., and will be followed by two children's programs presented by the Carnegie Science Center. (Pre-registration for the programs is required as seating is limited. Both programs are free, and open to the public.)
