  PreSchool Storyhour, Starting June 25

PreSchool Storyhour
Wednesdays at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm
June 25 to August 6

Registion for the next storyhour session will start at the beginning for June, and Storyhour will start on Wednesday, June 25 at 10:30 am and again at 1:30 pm.

Preschool Storyhour is for children ages three to five.

Sessions are held throughout the year. Stories, games, songs, finger plays, and easy exercises are done during each class. A simple craft project is also completed each week.

This is a free program, but Pre-registration is required.
Stop by the library or call us at 724-238-6451 to register.

Visiting children and grandchildren are always welcome as "special" guests. Just give us a call to let us know that they will be attending.


  Summer Writing Contest - Submission deadline August 11

The "A Book That Shaped Me" Summer Writing Contest encourages rising 5th & 6th graders to reflect on a book that has made a personal impact on their lives. The contest is administered as part of summer reading programs at participating public libraries.

  3D for Kids, August 16 (Registration Required)

This high-energy one hour workshop explores the art and science of 3D movies. Participants learn how to create amazing drawings, photographs and movies... all in 3D!

3D FOR KIDS is intended for kids ages 7 and up (and their parents). Registration is required.

Everyone takes home a pair of red/cyan 3D glasses, a 3D postcard, a 3D greeting card and an activity sheet.

Presented by award-winning filmmaker/musician Jeff Boller.

There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
