Let’s Book

Exercise for the Brain and Body

Another chapter of Let's Book starts in April with the first of four special walks that will get everyone ready and excited about the official start of the Let's Book program in September.

Spring/Summer Let's Book

This is an abbreviated version of our Let's Book program. From April to July, we'll hold one special walk a month to get everyone out enjoying our beautiful area and as a lead in to the official start of our 2017 program in September. Join us for one walk or all four. New members are always welcome.

You do not have to be a member of Let's Book to attend these walks, they are free and open to the public, but registration is required.

*For the Spring/Summer version, participants are not asked to track any reading or walking minutes.

What is Let's Book?

Reading and walking are great ways to reduce stress and energize the mind and body. Let's Book encourages everyone to do more of both. Overachievers are welcome! The plan is simple and flexible. Join us for group walks or walk on your own. Read your own books or borrow from the library for extra points - eBooks and audiobooks also count.

Special Walks:

April 20 - Wildflower Walk
May 18 - Saint Vincent Gristmill and the Fitness Trail (Click here to learn more)
June 15 - Spruce Flats Bog Trail Walk with Rachael Mahony, meet in Laurel Summit State Park lot
July 20 - TBA

These walks are all on Thursday mornings and start at 10:00am, unless otherwise stated.

Participants are welcome to meet us at the location or to meet at the library at an announced time and caravan to the site - please make arrangements to either drive yourself or to carpool with other members.
