Book Discussion Groups

The Ligonier Valley Library is home to several book discussion groups and new members are always welcome!

There is no charge to participate in any of our book clubs. New members are always welcome! If you are interested in joining, then stop by the library or call 724-238-6451.

Titles & Tea
Enjoy discussing the selected book over a cuppa tea and a snack! Titles & Tea normally meets once a month on a Wednesday at 3:00 pm.

Mystery Book Club
Delve into the intriguing world of mysteries and thrillers with this book discussion group. Bring your lunch and join us every other month (starting in February) on a Friday from 11:45 am to 12:50 pm.
Meeting date and Title selection: April 28 and Arthur and Sherlock by Michael Sims and The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Food for Thought: A Cookbook Club
Every other month, a cookbook will be selected and put on display at the main circulation desk. You pick a recipe that piques your interest (or taste buds). Prepare your recipe, then bring it to the meeting to share with other participants. It’s that simple!

Let’s Book
Exercise for the brain and body! This program gets participants walking and reading more, and features weekly Thursday walks that explore the Ligonier Valley area. The program is held over two months in the fall and either includes a spring session or special monthly walks in late spring/early summer. Participants keep track of their minutes spent walking and reading!
