Book Discussion Groups

The Ligonier Valley Library is home to several book discussion groups and new members are always welcome!

There is no charge to participate in any of our book clubs. New members are always welcome! If you are interested in joining, then stop by the library or call 724-238-6451.

Titles & Tea
Enjoy discussing the selected book over a cuppa tea and a snack! Titles & Tea normally meets once a month on a Wednesday at 3:00 pm.
Meeting date and Title selection: July 26 and Travels with Charley in Search of America by John Steinbeck.

Mystery Book Club
Delve into the intriguing world of mysteries and thrillers with this book discussion group. Join us every other month (starting in February) on the 4th Friday (2nd Friday in December) from 11:45 am to 12:50 pm.
Meeting date and Title selection: August 25 and A Killing in the Hills and Bitter River by Julia Keller (Books 1 and 2 in Keller’s Bell Elkins series) at Crumpets Tea Shop. Registration is encouraged.

Food for Thought: A Cookbook Club
Every other month, a cookbook will be selected and put on display at the main circulation desk. You pick a recipe that piques your interest (or taste buds). Prepare your recipe, then bring it to the meeting to share with other participants. It’s that simple!
Meeting date and selection: To Be Announced
